CESMOD – CENTER FOR RESEARCH ON RESILIENT, SMART, INNOVATIVE, AND SUSTAINABLE SOCIETY The main goal of the project is to establish a center that will ensure long-term expert capacity for socioeconomic research in the area of developing a resilient, SMART, and sustainable society. The interdisciplinary center will strengthen the professional competencies and knowledge of public administration and create a research background for better implementation of the Smart City Concept (MMR, 2021) and its Implementation Plan, as well as support the creation and implementation of cohesion policy, regional policy, and spatial development, which will be useful for developing innovative solutions in the area. It will focus on the research of economic, environmental, social, and institutional aspects of SMART society development. It will build a stable foundation for applied research through the concentration of research capacities and their orientation towards the application of research results in practice.
