Center for Tourism Research in Oceania-Pacific The tourism industry in the first source of income in French Polynesia. A dialogue with tourism professionals and institutions allowed us to identify the need for data and tools to better understand touristic phenomena. To this day, many issues remain unanswered. The CETOP intends to offer through its punctual and periodical research, adapted answers to these queries. The CETOP wishes to enlarge its field of study to Oceania-Pacific using multidisciplinary approaches. Oceania and its multiple islands linked by Te Moana Nui a Hiva is a huge and attractive region to welcome tourists from around the world.
