Oleksandr Tereshchenko Charity Foundation

The Oleksandr Tereshchenko International Charitable Foundation was founded in 2016 in Ukraine. In 2022, after the start of russia’s large-scale invasion, the Oleksandr Tereshchenko Charity and Support Foundation was registered in the Republic of Lithuania. The founder of both charitable foundations is Oleksandr Tereshchenko, a veteran of the russian-Ukrainian war and People's Hero of Ukraine. In 2014, during the defense of Donetsk airport, he was severely wounded and lost both arms and sight in one eye. However, he did not lose his desire to live a full life and be useful to his country. The Foundation's mission is to provide systematic and targeted assistance to Ukraine's defenders in the ongoing war and after its victory. During combat operations, the Foundation provides targeted assistance to individual units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine aimed at the effective fulfillment of tactical tasks. At the same time, the Foundation focuses its efforts on implementing the Life After War and I Did, so Can You projects, aimed at helping Ukrainian defenders who have lost their eyesight or have amputations to adapt to society.
