CFACIOM (Centre de formation d'apprentis des métiers de l'aéronautique Ciel Outre-Mer)

The CFACIOM is a training center dedicated to aeronautics. We offer qualifying training for 18 to 29 year olds students. Cabin Crew (PNC), Traffic Agents (flight dispatcher), Aeronautical mechanics (airframe, engine, avionics) Pilot (full professional pilot, instructor, twin-engine and theoretical line pilot). All our training courses are referenced in the aviation sector. The CFACIOM - Training Center for Apprentices in Sky Overseas Aeronautics - has given itself the mission of seeking excellence. At its head, Marie-Claude VALIDE, former captain who marked aviation history by creating VALIDAIR, the first Caribbean airline in Overseas. This new Apprentice Training Center, entitled CFACIOM for Ciel d'Outre-Mer, was born under the impetus of Marie-Claude Valide, Martiniquaise, navigator and former captain who marked aviation history by creating VALIDAIR, the first Caribbean airline in Overseas France. The pandemic with its harmful effects on young people in particular led Marie-Claude Valide to reflect on a real opportunity, which resulted in this new project in partnership with regional airlines, namely, Air Antilles, Air Guyane and Corsair. Marie-Claude VALIDE, thanks to her professional experience and her power of persuasion, was able to unite around her three passionate professionals in the commitment of the youngest, namely: • Nady Nelzy, author, playwright and cultural animator, • Françoise Léro , professional in engineering by training, • Philippe Odry, Engineer from the National School of « Arts et Métiers » (ENSAM). The objective is to intensify the effort and the diversity of training in favor of all the youth of the Overseas, in the field of the air trades.
