The CFD Companies are the outgrowth of a singular financial organization founded in 1969. Our founder was one of the early pioneers in the financial planning movement who believed clients should have “planning” services available on a fee basis without being obligated to implement products through the Broker/Dealer the planner represented. As a result, to position himself so that the needs of the clients could always be placed first, CFD Investments, Inc., a Registered Broker/Dealer, was founded in 1990. The intent then and now is to build a firm started by an adviser for advisers to serve their clients by always placing client needs ahead of the needs of the firm and its advisers.
