CFU Tutors provides high-quality Mathematics and English tutoring in the New York City area. Cofounders Asia and Emily were taught to include multiple “Checks for Understanding" (CFUs) throughout their lesson plans, and credit being highly effective teachers and tutors with this practice. CFUs ensure that they anticipate, plan, and address misunderstandings students have.
