Career Guidance & Placement Unit, LBS Institute of Technology for Women, Thiruvananthapuram, India, 695012. Career Guidance & Placement Unit (CGPU) in the college provides guidance and all the assistance for the students to achieve their career goals. The unit takes right steps in identifying the demands of the current industry and prepares our students towards this need. Adequate emphasis is given for soft skill development complementing the regular academic programmes. Communicative English and aptitude classes are conducted for students who are weak in communication. The students will be brought into the field of the CGPU during their first year itself. Aptitude tests and group discussions are conducted at regular intervals to enable the students to improve their performance in competitive exams.
