This firm was established in 2009 named as “Ancient Artifact” for Engineering and Geological consultation services. Ancient Artifact provided various Engineering development projects as well as geological, geotechnical and hydro-geological projects. In 2015 the Geological wing of Ancient Artifact was separated and formed as “Center for Geoservices and Research (CGR)”. Now CGR is providing standard services solely on Geological, Engineering Geology, Geophysics, Hydrogeology, Environment (IEE, EIA), and GIS &RS. CGR is committed to provide sustainable development solution for different sectors especially surface and subsurface hazard and risk analysis, surface and ground water modeling for long time establishments. Country like Bangladesh is consisted of mainly sedimentary rock that’s why it is very common to face various obstructions to develop infrastructures. To mitigate these obstructions it is essential to study Engineering Geology, Hydro-geology, Geo-hazard and Environmental constrains. The structural, morphological and seismic features of Bangladesh indicate to study the hazardous activities of natural and manmade for developing any commercial, industrial and residential infrastructures. Center for Geoservices and Research (CGR) has been established by a group of geologists, geological engineers, geotechnical engineers, environmental geologists, hydro-geologists, geophysicists and GIS & remote sensing specialists to provide the sustainable solutions for all Government and Private sectors.
