Basketball is one of the most diverse sports in this country and research has shown basketball is the second most popular team sport in the UK however receives very little in funding compared to other sports. The benefits are invaluable and cannot be ignored based on how basketball can positively impact a young persons life.
So far Chain Net Apparel CIC has been involved with the Orchard Park Project where we took a derelict basketball court and reimagined it to a brand new basketball facility that can now be recognised country-wide. We will continue to work on these large scale projects that help communities thrive by becoming more active.
We developed a love for basketball back in the mid '90s so we have used this recognised era as inspiration to build our brand aesthetic.
Not only do we teach the necessary skills needed for basketball but we will use every opportunity to demonstrate how certain mental skills can be transferred to everyday life.
