Chalkable was founded as Software Technology Inc. (STI) in 1982. In 2014, STI acquired three edtech start-ups - Chalkable, Learning Earnings and Spiral Universe - with plans to integrate the products into its offerings. In March 2015, STI rebranded as Chalkable and now offers a comprehensive student achievement platform to the K-12 market.
Today, Chalkable has more than 125 employees and has offices in Alabama, the Washington, D.C. metro area, Missouri, Illinois and Kentucky. More than 6,000 schools in 50 states use Chalkable solutions.
