Our mission is to reduce the damage caused by punitive drug policies, so that people who use drugs can live safe, healthy lives in our community. We provide harm reduction services in Greenville, South Carolina including syringe exchange, overdose prevention, HIV and HCV testing with linkage to care, drug user health education, and advocacy. As the first syringe service program in SC, we were founded by a person with lived experience who wanted to provide syringe services in his community. Challenges Inc partners and collaborates with like minded organizations in SC. Maybe most importantly though, we are a creator of change for how our community views people who use drugs, from healthcare to criminal justice, and we hope to continue improving the lives of the people we serve and health outcomes for our community at large.
