Chama Technologies BV

Chama Technologies BV was founded in November 2016 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Shortly after it started its software development it launched its marketplace for cooking gas in São Paulo, Brazil. Its app to order cooking gas gained significant traction in the Brazilian market with 10+ milion downloads supplying milions of households of cooking gas in various cities across Brazil. Hundreds of dealerships benefited from the online sales channel and the optimalisation it provided for fullfilment. In October 2022 it seized its operational activities in the Brazilian market. This page is to remember its existence and the legacy it left behind. The company brought innovation to the industry, benefited many households and dealers for many years and helped many talented people from many different nationalities who worked for Chama both in The Netherlands and Brazil build their careers.
