Champion Charter is an Industrial Distribution company providing industrial goods and services since 1946. Our products and services are directly related to the manufacturing industry within which we operate. We have three locations: Iron Mountain, MI; Ishpeming, MI; and Hibbing, MN. We are proud to be part of our local communities. We’re loyal to Locals and support their efforts. Our customers are found in many areas: Ore Mining, Sand-Gravel-Aggregate mining, Silica Sand Mining, Specialty Mining, Underground Mining, Lumber Mills, OSB Mills, Pulp and Paper, Grocery Stores, Hardware Stores, Beverage, Distribution Warehouses, Water Wells, Municipalities, Specialty Manufacturing, Power, Biomass, and OEMs. Our Territory includes the Michigan Upper Peninsula, Northern Lower Michigan, Northeastern Upper Wisconsin, the southwestern Wisconsin—Minnesota border, the Minnesota Iron Range, and Duluth, Minnesota—Superior, Wisconsin. We are made up of 27 individuals (people/families). We believe that our employees are the backbone of Champion Charter. Without those people showing up day in and day out, doing their best every day, I think we would be another place to work. Champion Charter is a family-owned and operated business currently in its third generation of family ownership. Our employees have a range of 1 year to 49 years of service. Between us, we have 341 years of combined service and experience. We are also unique because we are mostly aligned and partnered with family-owned and operated manufacturers, OEMs, and vendors.
