Change 4 Dade is proud to work alongside Chapman Partnership to create a safe space for homeless unaccompanied youth in Miami-Dade County. There are 1.7 million unaccompanied homeless youth annually in the United States and over the past two years, there has been a 2% increase in unaccompanied homeless youth in our county alone.
Together, Change 4 Dade and Chapman Partnership, will create a dorm space to provide safe and supportive accommodations for these young adults. This project recognizes the critical need to address the challenges faced by vulnerable young individuals who lack stable housing and are at risk of exploitation, substance abuse, and various forms of harm. By transforming the dorm into a welcoming and nurturing environment, Change 4 Dade seeks to empower these youth, offering them a renewed sense of hope, stability, and opportunities for a brighter future.
