Welcome to the Change Talk Podcast!
Using Motivational Interviewing as a base and guide, I have open conversations that try and help move the needle a little more towards positive growth. This includes guests of many varieties and I also hope to include thought leaders in different fields, including therapists, who can be open enough to share an area in their life that they want to improve, as opposed to always taking the role of expert.
I mirror this in the first episode. I have had a lip picking habit for 10+ years and after my episode of sharing this, my scabs have healed, because it has given me incredible incentive not to pick (aka a community knows about it and I want to show how my podcast can help people make positive changes)
There are many podcasts out there, where people on share a book launch, or to share more about their life’s work and expertise. I hope to make space where courageous professionals and leaders can share an area of their life that they want to improve, in the hopes that this change talk can impact the change talk of others.
