Developing Minds respects and understands that autism is a neuropsychological disorder that affects both an individual’s brain functioning and the development of a healthy sense of self. One cannot develop a strong, healthy sense of self based on the accumulation of skills or by simply displaying compliant behavior. We empower and support parents and other(s) so they may construct optimal learning environments wherein they are able to transform the relationship between individuals with autism and the world around them. Every individual that we treat challenges us to dig deeper. We’re committed to staying curious. Our team is uniquely qualified to meet the complex and ever-changing needs of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families. Working directly under Dr. Steven Gutstein (founder of RDI®) for the past six years as part of the development team, we have spent time intensively reviewing and understanding the latest research. We put research into practice.
