In 1720, under the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismaïl, master of Morocco’s imperial cities, a secret craft emerged in the alleys of Fez. The Maâlems (master artisans) of the Alaouite dynasty sculpted ephemeral palaces for global emissaries blending zellige, carved cedar, and gold. Among them, a young architect named Youssef Al-Mansour designed a riad so majestic it was called "Al Makan Al Malaki" The Royal Place.
In 2025, his descendants uncovered these forgotten blueprints in the archives of the Medersa Ben Youssef. Inspired by this legacy of excellence, they founded CHANTIER ROYAL, brand where every stone tells the soul of Morocco, and every project merges ancestral craftsmanship with 21st-century boldness.
