At Children’s Hunger Alliance, we believe every child should have nutritious food to eat every day of the week, all year long. The goal of CHA is to increase children’s food security and nutrition education, and we’ve been leading the charge to break the cycle of childhood hunger in Ohio since 1970. As the largest comprehensive statewide organization focused solely on children’s food security and nutrition education, CHA plays a unique role. We adapt to need by getting nutritious food to kids wherever they are: in-home childcare, childcare centers, schools, afterschool programs, over weekends, and during the summer. With over 1,800 partner sites across 76 counties, we provide direct service, capacity-building, and education — all aimed at nourishing children’s futures.
