Charanga's educational platform is used by over 70,000 teachers in 64 countries. More than 2.5 million children enjoy Charanga-supported music lessons every week, while 25,000 teachers in mainstream primary schools use our SEND resources in their teaching. We've worked on several landmark projects with major arts organisations and artists including Nicola Benedetti, the BBC, Aldeburgh Music and Brighter Sounds. We also have a 15-year track record of working in partnership with music services and hubs UK-wide; those combining our technology and training programmes with their on-the-ground services to extend high-quality music provision in their schools. Our model curriculum underpins our Musical School primary and special school programme. Loved by music specialists and non-musicians alike, the curriculum is infinitely customisable. Teachers can personalise everything dependent on their needs and those of the children they teach – all from a sound pedagogical starting point. With over 350 years of combined classroom music teaching experience, our Education Team also provides over 500 face-to-face training events annually.
