Chardust Ltd.

Chardust Ltd. is an alternative energy company headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. We've developed innovative techniques to convert discarded charcoal waste into low-cost fuel briquettes. We sell over 200 t. of briquettes per month, displacing an equivalent amount of unsustainably harvested charcoal. At the same time as providing a cheaper energy alternative, this creates jobs, recycles waste and conserves the environment. We also manufacture water heaters that use our briquettes, enabling savings of over 70% to be made compared with water heated using electricity.
