John Burns envisioned Charityroundup in 1999, but it was 2002 with the introduction of smart Point of Sale (POS) terminals that digital wallet/remittance company Wiremite Inc. could incorporate this feature online and on the POS. In 2004 John published www.charityroundup.org as a public non-royalty, non-patent opensource. Since then the world has implemented the Charity Roundup process to raise $100s of millions for charities.
Raise funds for charity by simply rounding up the purchase price of an item to the next dime or dollar. This site will add new roundup service providers as they come available.
