In 1974, Charles Samelson founded Charles Samelson, Inc. and began the successful journey of designing and engineering stylish fire retardant (FR) fabrics for the contract and residential marketplace. In growing our Hospitality business, we expanded our warehouse in 1985, and in 1990 built a new state-of-the-art distribution and heat-transfer print facility in Spartanburg, S.C.
