Chateau de Beauregard

This breathtaking seventeenth-century Château combines modern comforts with historic charm, nestled within six hectares of beautiful gardens. The Château was built in 1620 and the Lords of Beauregard enjoyed the exclusivity of this beautiful property up until the Revolution. The Château was transformed around 1840 to give it its current appearance. The Château can be found near to the delightful village Jonquières, within the Vaucluse department in Provence. Thirty minutes drive to the centre of Avignon and 1 hour drive to Marseille Airport. From the moment you drive through the rustic iron gates, up the tree-lined driveway and into the Château courtyard, you are immediately transported into a delightful fairy tale world. The courtyard is the perfect place for a drinks reception or an alfresco dinner. There is a small chapel, off the courtyard, which can seat a maximum of 20 guests, however there is plenty of space within the grounds to seat 200 guests for an outside wedding ceremony and even room for glamping! Inside, this incredible Château is furnished with beautiful artwork and authentic French antique furniture. The Château boasts a spacious, air-conditioned modern kitchen and traditional stone floor dining room, with an open fireplace. The kitchen gives direct access to a herb garden, which is another lovely area for alfresco dining. Within the Château you will also find a ballroom, library, an air-conditioned cinema room and even an armoured knight! With 17 bedrooms, the Château can comfortably sleep 37 people and has the capacity to hold a sit down dinner for 120 guests in the ballroom. Each bedroom boasts premium bedding, and offers a classic French design, so you will feel like royalty sleeping in your very own castle. On-site leisure facilities include table tennis, a swimming pool, tennis courts, a pool table and a giant chess set. There is also a horse and pony for equestrian lovers.
