Château Virant

Château Virant is located on the terroir of Aix-en-Provence and is part of the appellation – or protected designation – of the same name. Our vineyards cover 135 hectares, and other 30 hectares of our estate are olive trees. Characterized by a clay-limestone soil, the terroir of the estate is subjected to the uninterrupted gusts of the Mistral, to high temperatures and generous sunlight. The soils are drained by these particular climatic conditions. In turn, they favor the development of grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache or Ugni Blanc and offers us olive tree varieties including Aglandau and Salonenque. Our products are awarded with prestigious prizes: on a national scale, the "Concours Agricole of Paris", in which we received 66 gold medals, 53 silver medals, 17 bronze medals between 1996-2019 and regional prizes such as the"Concours des Coteaux d'Aix"or the"Concours PACA".
