CHAVÓN

Founded in affiliation with Parsons School of Design in 1983 and located in the Dominican Republic, CHAVÓN is a global center of art and design education, serving students throughout Latin America, the Caribbean and the international art, fashion, film and design community. CHAVÓN offers academic programs (full and part time) and a vibrant student experience at two unique locations—the intimate Altos De Chavon Campus, located within the Casa De Campo resort in La Romana, and the urban Santo Domingo Campus in the nation’s capital. CHAVÓN brings together the diverse cultures, styles and techniques of the continent and the Caribbean, while maintaining a global perspective and supporting the attainment of internationally recognized skills. The School nurtures talent and creativity in the context of real-world expectations and knowledge of international markets and job opportunities that meet the needs of the global creative industry and the growing Orange Economy -- today and into the future.
