Checkitout! is a mobile platform that connects the restaurant businesses with customers through daily ratings and friendship. It heals the pain of having to ask our friends for restaurants and bars referrals every time we intend to dine out. Though there are a number of applications already in the market, they provide very generalized narrative descriptions that are quite a hassle to sieve through. The platform allows individual users to build their own taste profiles which are then shared with their friends, so they never have to call them with question “Hey friend, what is the best Japanese restaurant for today [in San Francisco]?” Everyday, we marry restaurants and friends based on trust and taste!
