About Checkpoint Charlie Stiftung
The Checkpoint Charlie Foundation's goal is to maintain and further develop Berlin's German-American relations. Since its establishment, the Foundation has planned, supported and implemented almost 600 German-American projects costing more than three million euros. In addition, the Foundation has coordinated the largest German-American teachers' exchange between the U.S. and Germany (STEP) and has overseen quite a few of Berlin's non-partisan activities with its sister city Los Angeles.
