We take our name from the Blackburn Checks & Greys – traditional weaving patterns for which the town was once world-famous. This forgotten piece of Blackburn’s history has been revived by our business, bringing the name back to the local community as a source of pride and achievement. Checks & Greys is a place for the people of Blackburn to enjoy as their own – to meet, eat, drink & relax in comfortable surroundings.
