CHEER Foundation

The CHEER Foundation is an international educational non-profit organization founded in 1995. CHEER offers a range of services and leading educational programs, underpinned by values of excellence, shared diversity, cultural understanding, and leadership within a global community. CHEER aims to promote educational excellence in secondary schools in China. We do this through the development of global thinkers; and to facilitate progression to high-ranking universities on a global level, with a focus on higher education in the Netherlands. In 2011, in collaboration with six leading international secondary schools (Eton College, Groton School, Geelong Grammar School, Harvard-Westlake School, Beijing No.4 High School, and the High School Affiliated to Fudan University), CHEER played a key strategic role in establishing the World Leading Schools Association (WLSA), an international network of students, educators and leaders from secondary schools and universities.
