Cheer

Cheer is society registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 with Registration No.225/2011. We engage in: - Projects currently benefiting rural children, transgender persons, mentally-ill homeless persons, and slum-dwellers - Creating awareness on social or community issues through puppet shows, camps, campaigns, aid clinics, community organization, competitions, debates, trainings, workshops, etc - Activities supporting organizations to fulfil their Corporate Social Responsibility obligations. Cheer wishes to witness a society in which mutual-respect, tolerance, empathy, compassion, acceptance and responsibility are not mere words. There are so many issues around us that need to be dealt with, issues that touch upon life’s basics to ideal values. One person cannot do everything to change the world, but, each of us can do something to make this a better place. We wish to do that something.
