Chelsea’s Chews Cashew Creamery is a plant based frozen dessert specialty store, making cashew milk ice cream in store daily. It is our mission to use only high quality ingredients, fresh products, with no artificial flavorings, preservatives, or additives. All of our ice cream flavors are vegan and dairy free, with most also being gluten free. Furthermore, we offer vegan and gluten free ice cream cone options. It is our objective to provide those with allergies or on a restrictive diet a venue which caters to their needs.
Chelsea’s Chews is a mother-son venture created after we realized the lack of options for those who cannot have traditional ice cream or who follow a specific diet. We didn’t simply want to make a substitute for dairy ice cream, we wanted to create something which could stand on its own.
After much research and experimentation, we found cashew milk gave us the rich and creamy texture we were looking for without tasking like whatever base we used. It was then that we decided we were ready to open our cashew creamery!
