In the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Auckland, we contribute to a sustainable future through education and research on designing and developing new processes and materials to solve our society's big (and small) challenges in food, materials, energy, and the environment. Education: Our department offers undergraduate specialisations in Chemical and Materials Engineering and several postgraduate options. Research: We collaborate with different stakeholders to pursue fundamental chemical and materials engineering knowledge and apply the new knowledge to develop new products and processes and provide solutions to meet our society's needs for a sustainable future.
