CDFW

Chengdu Finance Week (CDFW) is a regular empowerment platform to advance the cross-border innovation investment under the Western-China financial centre, as well as the financial growth and openness of Chengdu City with global partnership. In the inaugural edition throughout 2023-2024, CDFW engages over one hundred of senior speakers and representatives from governments, international organizations, professional associations, companies, and think tanks across China, America, Europe, Middle East and Asia, covering 12 countries in total. Over 500 leading institutions send representatives to attend CDFW, and over millions of professional audiences attend the diversified activities and events. The 2nd edition of CDFW in 2025 is jointly sponsored by governments and industries, powered and hosted by China Innovation Finance Institute serves as the secretariat. In 2025, the 2nd CDFW as a regular empowerment platform is featured by innovative elements, including but not limited to: conferences and forums, investment services, flagship research, Country Day roadshows, international initiatives, social charity, etc. Besides facilitating the cross-border investment between China and the globe, CDFW is expected to have a bigger number of institutions and audience to attend CDFW throughout whole 2025 and 2026. The kick-off event is scheduled to take place from July 9 to 11, 2025, in Chengdu. This series of events will last for two months, being centred on investment promotion and the global expansion of industrial and financial firms, featuring high-level official meetings, visits to leading companies and industrial parks, tailor-made roadshows, opening ceremonies of office, projects and MOUs, etc.
