Cherry Forensics is an accounting company based out of 26 Winckley Square, Preston, United Kingdom. Ian Cherry formed his own niche practice specialising in Forensic Accountancy in 1988 after working for 3 of the big four accounting firms. Since then, he has carried out several thousand assignments and acted as an expert witness in many large cases of financial loss. The practice was rebranded Cherry Forensics and now trades under that name. The firm’s staff and consultants have over sixty years’ experience in Forensic Accounting and Expert witness work and specialise in complex financial claims. Ian and his team are qualified both as FCAs ( Fellows of the institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales ) but also as Chartered Arbitrators, Members of the Expert Witness institute and Members of the Academy of Experts. Ian is also a Freeman of the City of London and Member of The Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants .
