The Chesapeake Rotary Club meets weekly for fellowship, lunch and an informative presentation from a guest speaker every Wednesday at 1 pm, usually at the Chesapeake Conference Center (unless noted otherwise). We currently have over 100 members and are run by our five elected officers and ten elected board members.
Our motto is "Service Above Self" and we are a part of the 7600 District and Rotary International.
Throughout the year, we seek to better the City of Chesapeake and beyond, through the following initiatives:
• Coats for Kids
• Annual Chesapeake Rotary Christmas Parade
• First Citizen of Chesapeake
• Paint Your Heart Out! Chesapeake
• Chesapeake Wine Festival - We have given away over $1M to charity due to this annual fundraising event!!!
• International Service Projects - Honduras Orphan Helpers
