Chesapeake Financial Advisors was founded in 1998 by Tom Taylor, CPA/PFS. Our headquarters is in Towson, MD and we provide fee-only financial planning investment management, and tax planning services.
Our advisors are fiduciaries. A financial advisor held to a Fiduciary Standard occupies a position of special trust and confidence when working with a client. As a Fiduciary, the financial advisor is legally required to act with undivided loyalty to the client.
Our mission is to make your financial life easier and to provide financial peace of mind by providing fiduciary based, independent, fee-only comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and tax planning.
We are a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). All NAPFA Financial Advisors are required to work in a fee-only capacity. Only a NAPFA professional working within strict fiduciary standards can truly make this claim. The fee-only structure is the best way to align compensation with a client’s needs, forgoing any and all commissions and referral fees.
