Chesler Analytics LLC is an independent provider of technical market research to energy traders and risk managers based in Wellington, Florida. We have no affiliation with any trading, brokerage or financial service entities, and have served clients since 2003. Our mission is to help our clients stay ahead of the market by showing them how fund flows and technical conditions impact prices. Through our weekly reports and real time analysis, we attempt to identify the key technical factors driving the market, for the purpose of capital appreciation and timely hedging decisions. Daniel Chesler is an independent analyst with over three decades of industry experience in the cash commodity, futures and options markets. He received his Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation in September 1999, and has been recognized by the Market Technicians Association for original research into the relationship between cycles, price volatility and classical chart patterns. He has been quoted in Reuters, Bloomberg, Financial Times, and Barron’s. His articles and research have appeared in Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities magazine, The London Bullion Market Association quarterly journal, The Technical Analyst U.K., MTA Quarterly Journal and The Encyclopedia of Technical Market Indicators, 2nd Ed. He is a graduate of Babson College. Daniel previously worked as a trader and price risk manager for the Louis Dreyfus Group. In 2004, Daniel introduced the Hikkake trading pattern to the financial community through a series of published articles. Due to its popularity among institutional traders, the pattern has been adopted for use by INTSTREAM, the Nordic power trading software company, in their E2 Energy Market Analysis Platform.
