Estonia and South Moravia are teaming up to support the EU’s safe transition to a digital society. Estonia is among the most advanced digital societies globally, with an outstanding e-government infrastructure. South Moravia is a major Czech ICT powerhouse both in industry and education, with a strong focus on cybersecurity.
The EU-funded CHESS project will create a Cybersecurity Excellence Hub aiming to develop a joint cross-border cybersecurity research and innovation strategy and running pilots to support the identification of strengths and gaps, focusing on six challenge areas:

- Verification of Trustworthy Software
- Security Preservation in Blockchain
- Post-Quantum Cryptography
- Human-centric Aspects of Cybersecurity
