We believe in the right of all women to live free of abuse. What we do:
* Provide Domestic Abuse Awareness Training for Employers
* Raise Money to provide grants to those affected by abuse
* Raise Awareness of domestic abuse
* Monitor the Provision of Services to women and families experiencing domestic abuse
* Provide an independent voice of issues surrounding domestic abuse
We provide grants and funding, but not emergency assistance. If you need help, call the freephone 24 hour National Domestic Violence Helpline on 0808 2000 24 (note that Chester Women's Aid do not run the helpline, it is run in partnership between the national Women’s Aid & Refuge)
We are completely indpendent from the national Women's Aid organisation, and provide support mainly in Cheshire West and Chester and surrounding areas.
