Chez Dodo was founded by Dora Szalai aka Dodo, a Budapest-based pastry chef, who decided almost a decade ago that she wanted to make the most exciting macarons in the world. Chez Dodo, right in the historic center of Budapest, has been a mainstay in the city’s culinary scene ever since, praised and frequented by locals and visitors alike, awarded by professional connoisseurs and rating sites as well.
In 2024 Chez Dodo has been awarded by the prestigious La Liste Pastry Discovery Gem Award .
