The Liverpool City Region’s Innovation Zone Programme is a £160 million government investment designed to accelerate the growth of the health and life science sector, upskilling residents and creating jobs for our region. The Civic HealthTech Innovation Zone (CHI-Zone) is hosted by the University of Liverpool’s Civic Health Innovation Labs (CHIL) and forms an integral component of that Programme.
CHI-Zone will help make the Liverpool City Region a go-to place for investors in health and social care technologies. It will seed collaborate-to-innovate opportunities involving academics, health and care professionals, industry and communities - spearheading the use of data, including AI, and technology to transform health and social care over the next five years.
