About Chicago Angels

The Chicago Angels mission is to walk alongside children in foster care and their caretakers by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building and mentorship. INTENTIONAL GIVING: We define intentional giving as the giving of thoughtful gifts and resources that meet the real needs of a foster child and their entire family. RELATIONSHIP BUILDING: We define relationship building as devoting time and energy to foster healthy relationships that promote healing through connection. MENTORSHIP: We define mentorship as equipping and empowering our children to be prepared for adult living and reach their fullest potential. Our Love Box program is an opportunity to take further action by connecting with other dedicated volunteers and creating a pathway of hope for children in the foster care system. Volunteers meet practical, everyday needs, as well as build intentional relationships with the family they serve. Our dream is to see every child in the foster care system supported by a Love Box group. Our long-term vision is to open chapters in every major metropolitan city in the nation, so every single foster child in the United States will be supported and empowered to succeed.
