The Chicago People’s Rights Collaborative (CPRC) is a student-run clinic with a mission to provide a breadth of pro bono medical-legal services for clients seeking asylum, and detained or incarcerated individuals. Working in partnership with physicians, attorneys, and community members, CPRC advocates on behalf of survivors of mistreatment to strengthen their cases for legal protection. In addition to clinic work, CPRC also holds trainings for physicians and medical students to educate them on the role of healthcare providers in advancing justice in immigration and incarceration.
