Founded in 2013, the ChiLab began as a collaboration between friends from different disciplines who met in graduate school at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Through a common interest in elevating everyday objects and experiences, and a diversity of artistic and technical backgrounds, the ChiLab thinktank has grown to become an award-winning and acclaimed specialty project studio and a proud member of the Chicago design and arts communities.
