Chilcotts is a friendly and professional auction house based in smart and historic premises in the heart of Honiton, Devon.
Our vendors and valuation clients are private individuals and professionals, including 'downsizers', families and executors, solicitors and estate agents. We serve clients located locally, nationally and internationally; we frequently handle estates in Devon, Dorset and Somerset that are administered by families and/or solicitors who are based in other areas of the UK or abroad.
We appreciate that our vendors and valuation clients often use our services as a result of significant life changes; we know that the items that they want us to sell or value often hold sentimental significance, and we aim to assist with sensitivity.
Valuation and consignment days take place every Friday at our Honiton salerooms, and every third Thursday at The Cedars in Barnstaple; if you are wanting to sell, please contact us to make an appointment to see one of our specialists.

Our auctions are always held on Saturday; they are known for having interesting, high-quality lots. We access global markets through two online bidding platforms; traditional in-person bidding ensures a lively saleroom vibe!
In addition to our auction and valuation service we offer transportation and house clearance.
