Chiltern Engineering Ltd is a small business working in partnership with Anson & Sampson specialising in pressure systems engineering. Our expertise, developed over many years in the aerospace industry and compressed air supply, enables us to offer services related to compressed air and compressed gas systems and support to steam and pressurised hot water systems. We are corporately a Competent Person in compressed air and compressed gas systems. PRESSURE SYSTEM SAFETY Legislation relating to pressure systems, eg The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000, require that these systems be assessed for safety and regular maintenance. These assessments can be time consuming and expensive, so our aim as a company is to keep your costs to a minimum, whilst providing sound advice and recommendations to ensure that you meet, or exceed, the statutory requirements. The assessments will include a detailed report, and an optional cost for bringing your equipment up to the necessary standards. As a Competent Person we can produce certified Written Schemes of Examination, including schematic drawings of a complete system. We certify Written Schemes of Examination produced by third parties and carry out examinations of pressure systems. TESTING & INSPECTION We have the facility to:- * Inspect and test air receivers * Pressure test components and systems, hydrostatically and pneumatically * Calibrate, or check the accuracy of, pressure gauges * Verify the set pressure of safety valves This work can be carried out on your site.
