With almost 40-years experience in the biomedical field, Chimed is active in the medical devices market and manufactures products for general and specialist surgery, urology, anaesthesia and medicine. Its products have been used for years worldwide in over 30 countries. Our company is located in Italy, on the Tuscany coast.
Our high-tech infrastructures guarantee the medical devices we manufacture to be perfectly compliant with the applicable regulations. The production process is certified according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 regulations and takes place in our own clean room thanks to the use of high-tech modern equipment specifically designed for the medical manufacturing processes. Our production is compliant with the 93/42/EEC Directive on medical devices and follows procedures whose aim is to ensure the highest quality of the finished product.
The handling of raw materials and finished products is carried out in an appropriate structure to guarantee the correct identification and traceability of the products. The production cycle is supported by an advanced IT system which allows shortening to the minimum the processing time of the orders. Chimed is able to assist its customers in delivering the products directly to their end users, cooperating with selected partners.
Our logistics support covers both the Italian and foreign territory. The customer service is guaranteed by highly qualified personnel, who are able to provide all the necessary information regarding products, technical specifications, and administrative data.
