ChimeraSystems is a private company owned by David James Scott and Gillian Katinka de Villiers. Chimera Systems was founded in 2014 as an independent consultancy specialising in the areas of Food safety management and Food labelling, and is based in Cape Town, South Africa. Chimera Systems’ dual strategy is to facilitate development of customised food safety management systems (FSMS) through consulting, auditing and training, as well as guidance in label compliance of the product at market level. Thus, providing support to the food industry in understanding legal and retailer requirements around food safety, labelling, and nutritional claims. With a wide background in local and international food regulations, we provide support to the food industry in understanding the legal requirements around food safety, food labelling, and nutritional claims.
