China Licensing

The China Toy & Juvenile Products Association (中国玩具和婴童用品协会, CTJPA) is a non-profit trade organization dedicated to the toy, kids products and licensing industry, with members including any business that is actively engaged in the manufacture, development, importation, sale or general distribution of toys and consumer products intended for the youth market in China. Established in 1986, CTJPA is the only national association supported by Chinese government in the industry. And it is the only official representative in the International Council of Toy Industries (ICTI), appointed by Chinese government. CTJPA hosts China Licensing Expo (中国授权展) and China Licensing Summit (中国品牌授权高峰论坛) in Shanghai every year, and is the co-organizer of China National Advanced Training Course on Animation Licensing (动漫授权高研班) with Ministry of Culture of China. P.R., CTJPA also has various media and publishing channel focus on licensing, including the China Licensing Magazine (品牌授权杂志), E-Newsletter, WeChat Social Media, and Websites. The association’s primary focus is to maintain and promote the sustainable development of China’s toy, kids products and licensing industry. The association works closely with Chinese government, international organizations, other Chinese industrial associations, and the industry to achieve its objective. By the end of 2015, the registered CTJPA members surpassed 5,000 companies in China. With strong licensing demand from its membership companies, CTJPA, now a leading role in China’s licensing industry, is working with more efforts to meet the demand and provide a platform connecting every end in the licensing field of the market.
