Chinabase Import & Export Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "CQCB") is foreign trade-oriented enterprise established in 1999 under the direction of the Chinabase Head Office and Chongqing Foreign Trade & Economic Relations Commission, based upon a restructuring of the formerly China Export Bases Development Corporation Chongqing Branch, which was founded in 1985 as affiliated to China Export Bases Development Corporation of the formerly Ministry of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation.
CQCB’s main business covers main import products including medical devices, research instruments, nonferrous metals, minerals, machineries and crude materials.
CQCB has an excellent business reputation, a broad marketing & commercial distribution channel and a solid customer foundation, having built up trade relations with some 60 countries and regions with import and export volume of 2010 arriving at US$686 million ranking No.1 among Southwestern dedicated foreign trade companies for 5 consecutive years. The medical devices, nonferrous metals, pharmaceuticals and chemicals have become CQCB’s prime trading commodities.
So far CQCB and its subsidiaries have been accredited to ISO9001:2000; also OA, ERP etc. have well been put in place, enabling an automated information management.
